Is TimeLock really free?
TimeLock's core scheduling features are completely free — unlimited events, unlimited responses, and full results with heatmaps. We also offer Pro and Team plans with advanced features like calendar sync, AI suggestions, recurring meetings, team workspaces, and more. TimeLock is built by BRC (Baxter Research Group) as part of our suite of productivity tools.
What is the difference between Free, Pro, and Team?
The Free plan includes unlimited events and responses with heatmap results and email notifications — everything you need to schedule a meeting. Pro ($9/mo) adds calendar sync with Google and Outlook, AI scheduling suggestions, recurring meetings with auto-lock, priority scoring for key participants, and custom branding. Team ($29/mo, includes 3 seats) adds everything in Pro plus team workspaces, shared events and templates, response analytics, Slack and Teams notifications, admin controls, and API access.
Do I need an account to use TimeLock?
No. Event organizers can create events without an account, and participants never need to sign up. However, creating a free account gives you a personal dashboard to manage all your events, track responses, and set default preferences like your timezone. An account is created automatically when you sign in for the first time.
How does event confirmation work?
Once enough responses come in, you can review the heatmap to see which times work best and confirm a final time. If you change your mind, you can reopen voting to collect more responses. Participants are notified by email when an event is confirmed or reopened. On Pro and Team plans, recurring meetings can auto-lock once quorum conditions are met — for example, when all required participants have responded and a minimum number have confirmed.
Can I integrate TimeLock with my calendar?
TimeLock integrates directly with Google Calendar and Outlook. Once you connect your calendar in Settings, confirmed events sync automatically — no manual downloads needed. You can also download a standard .ics file for use with Apple Calendar or any other app that supports the iCalendar format.
What are recurring meetings?
Recurring meetings (Pro and Team plans) let you set up a series of events that repeat on a schedule. TimeLock automatically creates each occurrence, sends confirmation emails to participants, and tracks responses. You can mark key participants as required, set quorum rules, and enable auto-lock so meetings confirm themselves once enough people respond. If a required participant requests rescheduling, the organizer is notified automatically.
Is my data secure?
Yes. TimeLock uses industry-standard encryption for all data in transit and at rest. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties. Event data is stored securely and only accessible via the unique event links or through your authenticated dashboard. You can delete your data at any time from the settings page.
How many participants can respond to an event?
Standard events have no participant cap — anyone with the link can respond. Organizers can optionally set a maximum when creating an event. Recurring meetings support up to 200 participants per series. There are no per-plan limits on the number of participants.
